2. COURSE
We deliver 2 classes each week, 2 hours each, for 8 weeks.

AIMS:
1.
To become familiar with the IELTS test format.
2. To understand the requirements of the IELTS Listening section and
to develop ability to raise the Listening score.
3. To understand the requirements of the IELTS Reading section and
to develop ability to raise the Reading score.
4. To improve skills for the two tasks in the Writing section and to
raise the Writing score.
5. To become confident and competent in conversations with English
native speakers and to enhance the score in the Speaking section.
6. To develop in areas of grammar that need attention.
7. To build key vocabulary and expressions for the IELTS test.
TARGET PARTICIPANTS:
The course is designed for those wishing to take up study on a programme
where an IELTS (academic format)
score is required for entry.
It is also
for those who require an IELTS score
to demonstrate proficiency for a visa for
study or work abroad.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

There are no formal academic entry requirements.
●
Participants must be at
least 16 years old.
● Entrants
are expected to have a minimum English language proficiency of
Intermediate Level, corresponding to a notional IELTS score of at least
4.5
TEACHERS:
Teachers have experience in teaching both general English language and IELTS preparation.
They are qualified to at least degree level with a
minimum of 3 years English language teaching experience.

75% of the classes on this course will
