Eighteen primary school teachers from Dalian, China attended a series of workshops at NIE
in August 2008, delivered by Dr. Alan Richardson.
The workshops gave opportunity to discuss areas such as teaching materials and assessments, use of song and rhyme, the ideal language teaching classroom and errors arising from translation and from own-language interference.
